Four people have been killed and at least 20 injured in a mass shooting at a packed pub in the southern US state of South Carolina, according to authorities. When shooting broke out early Sunday morning, hundreds of people were gathered at the well-known pub on St. Helena Island. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s office, several victims and witnesses fled to neighboring establishments for safety.
According to the sheriff’s office, at least 20 individuals were hurt at the bar, including four who were sent to nearby hospitals in severe condition, and four people were pronounced dead. According to the statement, the sheriff’s office is investigating potential suspects and the incident is still being investigated.
