Sabrina Carpenter Babels White House Video Utilizing Her song Bad and Horrible

The White House social media department is in deep water with one of the world’s top singers after utilizing Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Juno” in a video depicting law enforcement apprehending people for alleged immigration violations. The Grammy-winning musician and composer described the video as “evil and disgusting”.

Carpenter performs her own lighthearted “arrests” with celebrities during her gigs during the “Juno” song while on tour, passing them a pair of pink fluffy handcuffs. Doubling down, the White House responded to Carpenter’s criticism by using her own lyrics in a statement.

Here’s a quick and sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we will not apologize for deporting dangerous criminals, including murderers, rapists, and pedophiles. Anyone who would stand by these sick monsters must be foolish or slow.” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson issued a statement. This isn’t the first time the Trump administration has utilized artists’ music without their permission, frequently using a lighthearted tone on social media through memes and videos.
