As Pressure Grows on Trump to Find a Way out of the Iran War, Younger and Older Conservatives are at Odds

According to polls, most Americans have opposed the US-Israeli military action in Iran since it began. Some party members voiced concerns about why the US began this war, how Donald Trump plans to end it, and if the effort has been worthwhile at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas.Samantha Cassell remarked, “I just wish there was more transparency about why we’re doing what we’re doing so you could send your loved one overseas and be okay with that.

“I hope it comes to an end quick, because it’s the cost of living, the oil and gas, the prices are only going to keep going up. Dallas resident Cassell was at her first CPAC conference with her buddy Joe Bolick. He was skeptical of the war as well.He stated, “I don’t see an endgame yet. “What do we really hope to accomplish? Is the regime shift real? How does that appear? Who should take their place? We kind of got ourselves stuck, in my opinion.

For the past ten years, CPAC has welcomed Trump, changing from a libertarian-leaning organization to one that is controlled by supporters of Make America Great Again. This year’s conservative conference was hosted at a large hotel complex close to Dallas, Texas, instead of its usual location just outside of Washington, DC.
