Disney’s adaptation of the traditional fairy tale in live-action In spite of numerous negative reviews, Snow White has led the North American box office chart. According to Box Office Mojo, the film made an estimated $87.3 million (£67.5 million) worldwide on its first weekend of release. North America accounted for over half of that total.
However, it falls short of what was anticipated for a movie that cost over $270 million. Before its premiere, the 1937 feature-length animation’s revamp had appeared to be a guaranteed hit before encountering many issues.
Israeli actress Gal Gadot, who plays Snow White’s stepmother, the Evil Queen, made pro-Israeli remarks, and Zegler’s pro-Palestinian remarks also sparked criticism. Additionally, whether live or computer-generated imagery (CGI) dwarfs should have been included in the movie is still debatable.

In its first three days in theatres, it made less than $1 million in a nation with a population of over 1.4 billion. Patrick Frater, a consultant to the entertainment sector, told the BBC, “I suspect that the numerous controversies have dulled the film’s appeal.
