In response to the investigation of convicted sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein, a congressional committee has decided to call US Attorney General Pam Bondi to appear. Republican senator Nancy Mace filed the move to subpoena Bondi, accusing the Justice Department of a “cover-up .
There has been increasing political pressure on the Trump administration to make all of the investigation’s documents public. Several well-known individuals have already been forced to testify in the case by the congressional committee. One of the biggest cover-ups in American history is the Epstein case. Mace posted on social media, “His global network of sex trafficking is bigger than what is being disclosed.”Because they did not black out the names of Epstein’s victims, Bondi and the Trump administration have come under fire for how they handled the data’ publication.
Representatives Lauren Boebert, Tim Burchett, Michael Cloud, and Scott Perry, along with five Republicans, including Mace, joined Democrats on the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday to vote in favour of the subpoena or court summons. We still don’t know the whole truth, even after three million records were made public,” Mace wrote. There are no videos. There is no audio. There are no logs. Millions more documents exist.
