Iran Hits The area After a Missile Attack on Israel Kills Nine People

According to emergency services, a missile strike on the Israeli city of Beit Shemesh has killed at least nine people and injured 27 more. The attack coincides with Iran launching attacks around the Middle East in retaliation for a large and continuous attack by Israel and the United States.

The United Arab Emirates’ capital, Abu Dhabi, has seen one fatality, while Kuwait has also confirmed one casualty. Strikes throughout the region have hurt dozens more individuals. One of the biggest interruptions to international travel since the Covid-19 outbreak has been the grounding of thousands of planes to and from the area.

Following the death of Iran’s supreme commander in the current US-Israel air offensive that began Saturday morning, Iran has unleashed massive attacks on US allies and assets around the Gulf using ballistic missiles and drones.

The Israel Defense Forces said in a post on X that Iran was “killing innocent civilians” by firing missiles directly toward Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem. A structure where people were taking refuge from the air raids was struck, according to officials. At the location of the attack, dozens of rescuers were looking for anyone who could have been buried beneath the debris.
