We recently had the opportunity to have a conversation with Miriam Schnyder, CEO of SCHNYDER Group Holding, and the Founder of Art X on Glass AG. With her lifelong passion for glass artistry and expertise in the field, Miriam successfully merged creativity with entrepreneurship while building Art X on Glass AG. With this company, she fulfills her commitment to bringing artistic creativity to real life through glass, and at the same time, Miriam Schnyder promotes young talents to showcase their skills in this unique art form.
The Beginning
We started by asking, “How did you get started, and what led you to where you are today?”
Miriam shared, “After completing my degree, I worked in multiple Swiss companies, gaining experience in different areas of business. Over time, I found my passion for glass as a material. I followed my vision to establish a company that blends the art of behind-glass painting while creating amazing opportunities for young aspirants. It led to the creation of Art X on Glass AG. My goal has always been clear: to bring the artistic to real life through glass and to promote talented individuals to showcase their skills in this unique art form.”

“I’m CEO of SCHNYDER Group Holding and founder of Art X on Glass AG. With a deep passion for glass artistry and years of experience in Swiss business, I successfully merged creativity with entrepreneurship. My company Art X on Glass AG not only pioneers innovation beyond glass painting but also fosters young talent, ensuring the craft continues to evolve.” She mentioned.
We further asked, “What are the core services/products you provide?”
Miriam added, “Art X on Glass AG’s core service is beyond glass painting. Our products are individually handmade and unique beyond glass paintings.”
Navigating Through Uncertain Times
Interested to learn how Miriam Schnyder deals with challenges faced as a business leader and overcomes the same, we requested her to share the same.
“Every entrepreneurial field presents challenges and issues. Staying committed to your objectives despite obstacles is, for me, the most difficult challenge. I believe in following one’s dream, putting in effort, and being truthful with people. Although life offers obstacles, you can achieve whatever if you remain resolved and focused. Remaining true to my passion and surrounding oneself with a committed crew have enabled one to negotiate even the most difficult circumstances.” She explained.
Redefining Businesses With AI
With the significant impact of AI on every industry, we were curious to learn how it has impacted Miriam’s industry and her take on the aspect. So, we asked, “How do you see technology, especially AI, impacting your industry?”
“We acknowledge the rapid changes in advancements and closely analyze their development. However, we firmly believe in the irreplaceable value of human creativity and craftsmanship. AI may improve certain processes, but the heart of our work lies in human artistry. Also, we focus on harnessing the unique skills of our team while staying open to AI-driven tools that can complement, rather than replace, human potential. It ensures that we maintain authenticity and originality in our projects while staying ahead of the changing landscape.” She replied.
Envisioning The Future Of Glass Painting Landscape
To gather Miriam Schnyder’s perspective on the upcoming days of her industry, we posed the question, “What are your views on the future of the industry you’re associated with?”
Miriam reflected, “As Art X on Glass AG we decided at the beginning to make our products handmade and not be part of automated mass production. Therefore we separate ourselves from different companies in our industry. Our main source is human mankind and decisions are based on this. Leadership lies in thanksgiving and belonging. I strongly believe that because, in the end, teamwork is always about unity. I make sure the members of our company all feel recognized and are always free to contribute at their best level.”
Words Of Wisdom For Aspiring Beginners
Addressing the beginners, we inquired, “What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs or leaders looking to make an impact in your industry?”
“To be successful in our industry you need to be deeply connected with the love and beauty of beyond glass painting. Therefore my advice would be – never give up chasing your dream!” She responded.

We ended the session by asking, “How do you maintain a work-life balance while managing a business?”
“My passion is my profession and as Pablo Picasso said – when I work I relax,” Miriam concluded.
