US President Trump Denounces the Purely Antisemitic Attack Following the 16-Person Bondi Beach Shooting

After two gunmen killed sixteen people during a Jewish celebration, shocking Australia, US President Donald Trump denounced “a purely antisemitic attack” in the strongest terms. Trump condemned the attack that occurred at the famous Bondi Beach and left several injured, echoing other world leaders. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese referred to the attack as “evil antisemitism,” and Australian police are examining it as terrorism.

Trump described the attack as “horrible” and “purely antisemitic” while speaking from the White House at a Christmas celebration. Today we can say loudly we celebrate Hanukkah,” the US president continued. Additionally, Trump mentioned a different shooting at Brown University that resulted in two fatalities and nine injuries. He remarked, “I pay my respects to the families.

In a nation with stringent gun control regulations, the 15-person attack is the bloodiest since 1996. Anthony Albanese, the prime minister of Australia, pledged to “eradicate” hate crimes in the nation.

Terrorism and acts of hate violence have no place in our country. He stated at a press conference following the shooting on Sunday, “Let me be clear: we will eradicate it.” One of the two gunmen was declared dead on Sunday, while the other was still in critical condition.
