Trump Describes Iran’s Reaction to the US Plan to End the Conflict as Totally Unacceptable

Iran’s answer to US efforts to end the conflict has been deemed “totally unacceptable” by President Donald Trump. According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, Tehran’s proposal, which was transmitted through Pakistan, which has acted as a mediator, contained assurances that there would be no more strikes on Iran, an immediate stop to the conflict on all fronts, and a halt to a US naval blockade.

Despite sporadic gunfire, a ceasefire established by the US and Israel in February to promote peace negotiations has been mostly upheld. Trump reiterated earlier this week that the battle in Iran will be “over quickly.”

However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war against Iran cannot be deemed finished until Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile is “taken out”In an appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes program, Netanyahu stated, “Enrichment sites still need to be dismantled.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Sunday that “we will never bow our heads before the enemy, and if talk of dialogue or negotiation arises, it does not mean surrender or retreat.” He did not specifically mention Tehran’s request.
