Harry and Meghan travel to Australia for a four-day Vacation

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have landed in Australia for a four-day tour that will include both private, lucrative engagements and visits to philanthropic causes. The couple, who are no longer employed royals and are on a private tour, will interact with children’s hospital patients and medical staff, war veterans and their families, and victims of domestic abuse.

Prince Harry’s keynote address at the summit, where tickets may cost up to A$2,400 (£1,260) per person, is another example of the schedule’s commercial component. Meghan will have a “in-person conversation” with the makers of the Her Best Life podcast during a women-only “girls weekend” in Sydney.

The amount Prince Harry and Meghan get for the business events is unknown. On a commercial Qantas aircraft from Los Angeles, the couple arrived at Melbourne airport at approximately 06:30 on Tuesday (21:30 BST on Monday).

This is Harry and Meghan’s first visit to Australia since 2018, when they traveled there for about nine days as part of a rigorous tour a few months after getting married. There are no public meetings scheduled for this trip, unlike the previous one when huge crowds gathered to welcome them wherever they went.
