In a furious new statement, the White House called one of the best-selling musicians in the world a “loser,” making its opinions about Bruce Springsteen very apparent. Long-time opponent of Donald Trump and his government, the veteran musician just revealed that the United States will be the stop on his highly charged next tour, “The Land Of Hopes And Dreams,” which begins in Minneapolis on March 31.
The first few dates of Springsteen’s 19 arena appearances will take place in places that ICE has targeted intensively, including Minneapolis, Portland (3 April), and Los Angeles. The tour is being promoted as a “celebration” and “defence” of “American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution, and our sacred American dream – all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C.” It concludes on May 27 at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.
“We are living through dark, disturbing, and dangerous times, but do not despair the cavalry is coming!” Springsteen declared in reference to the tour. As our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C., attack American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution, and our cherished American dream, we will be rocking your town in celebration and defence of America.
