Netanyahu will Meet with Trump to Discuss Iran Security

Following his phone conversation with US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with security officials on Wednesday. According to Israeli media, Trump and Netanyahu’s 40-minute phone conversation covered a wide variety of subjects, including the conflict in Gaza and the status of the Iran nuclear agreement.

Trump said his conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went well, although he did not elaborate when asked about the discussion. Great. Yes, we had a great conversation and covered a lot of ground. It was very silky. Let’s see what occurs. Trump stated, “You know, we’re trying to do something with a country we just spoke about, Iran.

Trump, however, disclosed that because the Iranians are “good negotiators,” talks seem to be at a standstill. He also reiterated the possibility of a harsh US strategy towards Tehran.

“They can be too harsh at times. This is the issue. Therefore, in order to prevent death and devastation, we are attempting to reach an agreement. And I’ve told them that, and we’ve told them that, and I hope that’s how it turns out. However, things may not turn out that way.

Israeli media reports that Defence Minister Israel Katz, Shas party chairwoman Aryeh Deri, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will be attending the security meeting with Netanyahu.
